The Ford Fiesta enjoys massive popularity here in the United Kingdom and it is testament to the quality and style of the car and its success over the years that Ford now wants to give the Fiesta even more exposure so that it will become the company’s flagship small car around the world.
The latest incarnation of the Fiesta is currently on a round the world trip as a way of showcasing what it has to offer. At the moment, the intrepid Fiesta is on the UK leg of its Ford Fiesta World Tour, which will take in a total of 21 countries and comprises a massive 15,000 mile journey.
The adventure began in Los Angeles and saw the little car make its way across America before arriving in Ireland to begin the European leg of its trip. While here in the UK, the Fiesta will stop at Bridgend in order to pay homage to the factory where all of the Ford Fiesta’s engines are built and then exported around the world.
The Fiesta and its crew now have 12,000 miles left which will see them crossing Europe, the Middle East and the Far East before finally reaching its destination in Sydney.
